We hear a lot these days that e-books will replace print books, but the folks at TeachingDegree.org have researched the available data on the subject and put together a graphic that indicates otherwise. They suggest that e-books and print books will co-exist occupying different niches. Take a look at the graphic below and let us know what you think. ***

I haven't bought a new print book in 6 months. I've read all the print books of my favourite authors, and all of them, with the exception of Stephen King, have started repeating themselves, so I don't buy them anymore.

Thanks for your comment, Louise. The e-reading devices are hard on the eyes of some people. A surface that generates light is not the same as one that reflects light (as in the pages of a book). Also, although an e-reader/tablet can break, the books you bought, for example, at Amazon are all archived there in your account, so you don't loose them if your e-reader/tablet dies.
