Welcome to R. Garcia's Website

A few years ago, I billed myself as R. Garcia, the eclectic writer (aka Phantomimic). I set up this website where I wrote about writing, and self-published an e-book (The Sun Zebra). Then "life" intervened and this website went dead for a few years. I gradually regained a measure of normalcy and created another website where I blog about science, but I didn't want to delete this one. Since I had been travelling to many interesting places and all the photographs and videos I generated had been accumulating in my hard drive, I decided to turn my blog into a an eclectic travel blog. This won't be a regular blog, and I will be updating it when I have the chance. Also, eventually I will get back to publishing my fiction, and when I do I will let you know.

On the meantime, in the Documents section you can find some of my old photographs and links to some of my stories, poems, and essays, which you will be able to read and/or download for free. You can also click on the Books section to check out my self-published books. If you click on the Quotes section you can read some quotes on writing and other topics, and if you click on the Contact section you can provide me your e-mail and I will send you a message when something good is cooking.
